Islamabad High Court on Thursday adjourned the hearing in a case pertaining to a plea seeking to challenge former premier Nawaz’s conviction in Al-Azizia reference case till June 19.
As per details, a two-member bench of the IHC comprising on Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kyani and Justice Amir Farooq heard the case.
The Nawaz’s Counsel Khawaja Haris appeared before the court and pleaded to postpone the hearing until after Eid as the paper box was incomplete.
The court by accepting Nawaz’s counsel’s plea adjourned the case’s hearing till June 19.
The previous hearing was adjourned because of the incomplete paper book. The court ordered to bring in the complete paper book so the hearing can proceed.
It is pertinent to mention here that Nawaz is sentenced to a prison term of seven years in the case pertaining to Al-Azizia Steel Mills.
