According to details, special event are being organized all over Pakistan to mark the woman day today.
In this regard, a program has been organized by the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in collaboration with Federal Ombudsman Secretariat for Protection against Harassment.
The special features of the event include “Exhibition of Women Artisans-at-Work” featuring women master artisans in different specialized craft fields and a prestigious opening ceremony with live colourful folk musical performances by young women artists and multi-media presentations on women issues, as per Radio Pakistan.
The National Woman Day is celebrated to honor the female citizens for their contributions in every field. From motherhood to a corporate employee the women’s achievements are required to be recognized without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political.
